§ A2-4. [Permanent employee status.]

All certified and noncertified persons in the employ of the office of the sheriff of Marion County on the effective date of this act who have served for a period of one calendar year or more as of such date shall be permanent employees subject to the provisions of this act. All other employees shall become permanent employees subject to the provisions of this act upon reaching their one-calendar-year-service anniversary date, as provided in section 1 [A2-1].
