§ A11-3. Definitions.

As used in this act, the following terms shall mean:

(1)

Authority means the Marion County Utility Authority.

(2)

Board means the board of county commissioners of Marion County.

(3)

Ordinance means the ordinance of the board which establishes the authority and prescribes its powers and duties.

(4)

Person means any individual, corporation, governmental agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association or any other legal entity.

(5)

System means facilities and property used or useful in providing utility services which may include a combination of functionally related facilities and property.

(6)

Utility services means providing water, sewer, drainage, garbage and waste disposal, and cable television services as the board may authorize in the ordinance.
