§ 10-118. Review of application.
The county administrator or his or her designee shall review each application and shall investigate the applicant's competence, financial responsibility, and any other factor deemed relevant to granting a certificate or permit. The county administrator or his or her designee shall also make an investigation as to the public necessity for permitted ALS (including air ambulance) or BLS emergency vehicles operation in the proposed service area. The county administrator will prepare a report to the board containing the recommendation whether to grant or deny the certificate to the applicant within sixty (60) days from the date the county receives the application. If the county administrator does not submit the report to the board within the prescribed sixty-day period, then the application shall be forwarded to the board for consideration.
