§ 14-19. Boat ramp fees.

A fee shall be paid by all persons using the boat ramps of the Rainbow Lakes Estates Parks. This fee shall be one dollar ($1.00) annually for any resident of the Rainbow Lakes Estates Municipal Service Taxing District; nonresidents shall pay a fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) annually, or a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for one month. Upon payment of the fee, a decal shall be issued to be affixed to the boat trailer as evidence of payment.

The county administrator, or his designee, shall issue appropriate decals upon presentation of proof of residence and payment of the required fee. All fees received shall be forwarded to the clerk of the court of Marion County, Florida, as ex officio treasurer of the district.

Annually, an amount at least equal to the fees so received, plus any unexpended balance from prior years, shall be appropriated for purposes of maintaining and repairing the boat ramps and parking lots and for law enforcement activities on the lakes within the geographical boundaries of the Rainbow Lakes Estates Municipal Service Taxing District.
