§ 15-1. Closing of county roads during certain hours.

  • (a)

    Any and all county roads may be closed to the public between one-half hour after sundown and one-half hour prior to sunrise by posting a "No Trespass" sign on the portion of the road to be closed; the sign shall state the following: NO TRESPASSING BEYOND THIS SIGN BETWEEN ONE-HALF HOUR AFTER SUNDOWN AND ONE-HALF HOUR PRIOR TO SUNRISE. Before closing any county roads, the board shall adopt a resolution at a public hearing naming the road to be closed and stating what portion of the road is to be closed.

    (b)

    Any person found between one-half hour after sundown and one-half hour prior to sunrise on that portion of a county road which has been posted pursuant to subsection (a), above, shall be subject to the trespass provisions of chapter 810, Florida Statutes.
