§ 15-52. Operation of golf carts.

The board of county commissioners hereby authorizes the operation of golf carts on the roads and streets in the unincorporated area of Marion County known as the Villages of Marion County and on SE 176th Street and SE 175th Place at the intersection with US 27/441. Appropriate signs shall be posted indicating that such operation is allowed. Upon the approval from the Florida Department of Transportation, golf carts may cross US 27/441 only at SE 176th Street/175th Place, within normal vehicle lanes and making traffic movements in accordance with signal operation.
