§ 15-72. Operation of golf carts.

The board of county commissioners hereby authorizes the operation of golf carts on the roads and streets except for and excluding SW 80th Avenue in the unincorporated area of Marion County known as On Top Of The World Development as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Appropriate signs shall be posted indicating that such operation is allowed. Golf carts operated on public roads dedicated to Marion County shall be on a separated golf cart path, where available, and may cross such public roads only at intersections that have either a traffic signal containing stop lights or an intersection with stop signs posted at all intersecting roads. Golf carts are allowed to cross SW 80th Avenue at SW 80th Street and SW 90th Street within normal traffic lanes and making traffic movements in accordance with signal operation.
