§ 16-10. Construction and demolition debris.

  • (a)

    A mechanical container, truck, or trailer shall be used for the storage and collection of construction and demolition debris at the site of a construction, renovation, or demolition project. All of the construction and demolition debris generated by such project shall be placed in a mechanical container, truck, or trailer and transported to an appropriate solid waste management facility for recycling or disposal.

    (b)

    Garbage, rubbish, construction and demolition debris, and other types of solid waste shall not be placed or stored on the ground at the site of a construction, renovation, or demolition project. Such waste shall be placed in a collection container.

    (c)

    Construction and demolition debris shall not be placed: (1) in a location or disposal site that is not authorized by the board and the FDEP to accept construction and demolition debris; or (2) in a collection container that is intended for the collection of other types of solid waste.
