§ 16-35. Hours of operation for collection service.

(a)

A franchise holder shall provide residential collection service only between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

(b)

A franchise holder may provide commercial collection service at any time.

(c)

The director may restrict the operations of a franchise holder whenever the director reasonably concludes such restriction is necessary to address complaints, a nuisance, a site specific condition, or a threat to the public health, safety or welfare. Among other things, the director may extend or shorten the days and times when residential waste and commercial waste may be collected.
