§ 17.5-5. Authority of county to regulate cable systems.

(a)

To the extent consistent with the Cable Act, and the regulations of the FCC, and applicable federal or state laws, the county shall have continuing regulatory jurisdiction over the operation of any cable system or cable operator in the unincorporated portions of the county.

(b)

The county commission shall comply with the rules and regulations of the Cable Act including but not limited to the public hearing process.
