§ 17-121. Stormwater service assessments.

The board is hereby authorized to impose stormwater service assessments against property located within the stormwater service area. The stormwater management service cost may be assessed against property located within the stormwater service area at a rate of assessment based upon the special benefit accruing to such property from the stormwater management service cost components of stormwater management service provided by the county. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the board specifically determines that a portion of the stormwater service area does not receive a special benefit from a component of the stormwater management service cost, then such stormwater management service cost component shall be assessed only against property located within an identified stormwater management service area.
