§ 19-271. Purpose and intent.

The purpose of this article is to establish minimum requirements for the control of cross-connections and the prevention of backflow into public potable water systems within the unincorporated area of Marion County, Florida. It is the intent of the board of county commissioners that no connection to any of those systems be made or retained which would impair or threaten the quality and/or potability of the water supplies delivered by such systems.
