§ 2-46. Position created; nature of position; term of office.

There is hereby created the position of county administrator for the county. The county administrator shall be an officer of the board of county commissioners and shall exercise only those powers, duties and responsibilities as specifically conferred by the board of county commissioners. The term of office of the county administrator shall be at the pleasure of the board of county commissioners. He shall be appointed by an affirmative vote of not less than three (3) members of the board of county commissioners and may be removed at any time by an affirmative vote, upon notice, of not less than three (3) members of the board, after a hearing if such be requested by the county administrator.
