§ 3-10. Health warning.

  • (a)

    Sign requirements. All vendors of alcoholic beverages which are not for consumption on the premises shall have posted in a conspicuous place in their premises, a warning sign of at least eleven (11) inches by seventeen (17) inches in size which is clearly visible and legible to all patrons entering the premises. Such warning sign shall read as follows:

    HEALTH WARNING

    ALCOHOL IN BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR CAN CAUSE INTOXICATION, ADDICTION AND BIRTH DEFECTS.

    REDUCE YOUR RISKS:

    DO NOT DRINK BEFORE DRIVING OR OPERATING MACHINERY.

    DO NOT MIX ALCOHOL WITH OTHER DRUGS (IT COULD BE FATAL).

    DO NOT DRINK DURING PREGNANCY.

    (b)

    Violation. Violation of this section shall be punishable in accordance with section 125.69, Florida Statutes.
