§ 8-19. Appeals.

Appeals of any interpretation or violation of the Marion County Fire Prevention Code or any citations issued thereunder shall be appealable to the Marion County Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals (CBAA). All appeals to the CBAA shall be filed with the Marion County Building Director and shall contain a detailed writing concerning the basis of the appeal. The CBAA shall render all appeal decisions in writing. Appeal of all decisions of the CBAA shall be to the circuit court in Marion County, Florida, by petition for a writ of certiorari.
