§ 9-53. Submission of claim.

The county fire chief or other county official shall submit by certified mail a written itemized claim for the total costs incurred by the county to the responsible person(s) or entity and a written notice that unless the amounts are paid in full within sixty (60) days after the date of mailing of the claim and notice, the county may file a civil action seeking recovery for the stated amount.
