§ 4.2.7. Rural Residential (RR-1) classification.
A.
Intent of Classification. The Rural Residential Classification provides for rural residential development with home sites and certain agricultural uses, which are compatible with rural residential development. All residentially zoned parcels of record located in Rural Lands are eligible for rezoning to this classification. Agriculturally zoned parcels shall not be rezoned to this classification.
B.
Permitted Uses:
Single-family dwelling
Manufactured buildings (DCA approved residential units)
Manufactured homes
Community or personal use garden
Community residential home with six or less residents
Horses or cattle for personal use (See special lot area and number requirements in Sec. 4.2.6.F.)
Single family, guest cottage, apartment. Refer to Sec. 4.3.18
Private greenhouse or non-commercial (no retail sales) conservatory for plants or flowers
Public Park, playground or other public recreational use
C.
Special Uses (requiring permit)
Accessory Uses on non-contiguous vacant lot
Church, Place of Worship
Parking of commercial vehicles, see Sec. 4.3.21
Pot-bellied pigs as pets
Public lodging establishments including resort condominium, non-transient apartment, transient apartment, rooming house, bed and breakfast inn, or resort dwelling
Sprayfields (or other type of effluent disposal area when application rate exceeds 10,000 gallons per day, if allowed by law)

Vested, unless qualifies for the density exception provisions in (Sec. 4.3.2)
