§ 6.12.14. Street lighting.

A.

Street lighting, if provided, shall be in accordance with a plan designed by the utility company, or using the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) Lighting Handbook, current edition.

B.

An individual, homeowner's association or other legal entity shall be responsible for care, maintenance and costs of street lighting.

C.

Spacing of light poles or posts shall conform to the standards in the IESNA Lighting Handbook, current edition.

D.

The height and shielding of lighting fixtures shall provide proper lighting without hazard to drivers or nuisance to residents in accordance with Division 6.19.
