§ A6-21. [Finding.]

  • The legislature finds that there is an immediate threat to the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Marion County who reside in unrecorded subdivisions because essential services such as fire protection, ambulance, school bus, and postal services are not available because of impassable roads and related drainage problems. Therefore, the legislature does hereby grant to the board of county commissioners of Marion County the powers enumerated in this act [division] in order to provide essential services to citizens residing in unrecorded subdivisions within the county.
