§ 10-115. Medical advisory committee.
There is hereby established a medical advisory committee whose members shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: the emergency department medical doctor for each hospital within the county, each licensee's medical director and at least one EMS representative from all fire and EMS services serving Marion County. The medical advisory committee members shall participate and make recommendations to the county administrator in regards to the following:
(1)
The standard of care and any amendments thereto.
(2)
Ocala/Marion County EMS pre-hospital guidelines.
(3)
Complaints, problems, or concerns pertaining to any aspect of EMS which affects patient care.
(4)
Any other matter regarding the provision of EMS service.
