§ 16-9. Yard trash.
(a)
An owner or occupant of residential property may deliver and dispose of, two (2) cubic yards of yard trash per day at a recycling center, if the yard trash was generated on such property and the current solid waste assessment for such property was paid to the county.
(b)
The recycling centers shall not accept oversized yard trash or land clearing debris. Any person delivering oversized yard trash or land clearing debris to a recycling center shall be denied admission and directed to the baseline landfill or other appropriate facility.
(c)
Bagged yard trash shall not be accepted at the baseline landfill or the recycling centers. Any person delivering yard trash in bags shall be required to remove the yard trash from the bags before the yard trash is accepted at a county solid waste management facility.
(d)
Yard trash shall not be placed in a collection container or location intended for the collection of other types of solid waste.
