§ 17.5-4. Compliance with applicable regulations.

(a)

All cable operators shall abide by and perform in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, including any amendments to this chapter, and such additional rules and regulations as the county may adopt pursuant to the Cable Act or the rules and regulations promulgated by the FCC or Florida Statutes provided that such amendments or additional rules and regulations do not alter the terms of an existing franchise.

(b)

No person or entity may operate a cable system or provide cable services to residents of unincorporated areas of the county without entering into a franchise agreement with the county in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A.
